The Mermaids Secret Bower

Here we have one of my newer larger pieces. This is more of an environment, but it has a seating platform comprised of a horizontal sea fan and a thin sliver of bleached bone. Hard to detect in these images, but it held a nice sized faery as well as mermaid.....and it sold the moment I showed it. Yay!

This piece combines a number of sea fans, the inner spiral of a large turban shell, chunks of florite (they make the piece look like its floating on water....), quartz crystals, a rather wonderful apatite crystal, pearls, and an amazing piece of curvy dried kelp. Organic wonders!
